Faceplate

Faceplate terms

Effective October 9, 2026. Faceplate is a Chrome extension made by LJK Creative, LLC. These terms cover using the extension and buying Pro. They're short because the extension does very little on our side.

What Faceplate is

Faceplate adds your name and title, your logo, or an image of your own to your camera video in Google Meet. It runs inside the Google Meet page in Chrome and changes only your own video. It never asks for camera permission of its own; Google Meet asks for your camera as usual.

Free and Pro

The free version includes one template and one image overlay. Pro includes every template, your own logo, unlimited saved overlays, and the automatic switch to the presentation layout when someone shares their screen.

Buying Pro

Pro is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, charged to your card at the start of each month or year, and it renews until you cancel. Your price stays locked in for as long as you stay subscribed; a later price change never applies to a subscription that already exists.

Payment is handled by ExtensionPay with Stripe. You enter your email on ExtensionPay's page and your card on Stripe's checkout. We never see your card. What each of them keeps is in the privacy policy.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the panel's Account link. You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you paid for, and nothing further is charged.

Refunds

If Pro isn't working for you, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked; Pro ends when we do. After 14 days, cancelling stops the renewal but doesn't refund the rest of the month or year. If we stop supporting Faceplate, or it can no longer work in Google Meet, we'll refund the months left on every yearly plan. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and take five to ten business days to appear. The full refund policy is its own page.

One rule for overlays

Use overlays that are clearly your own. Don't imitate Google Meet's interface, fake a recording indicator, impersonate a person or organization, or put words in other participants' mouths. Your overlays never reach us, so what you show on your camera is your responsibility.

What we can't promise

Faceplate depends on Google Meet and Chrome, which change without notice. We work to keep up, but an update to either can stop the overlay for a while. When the overlay can't run, Meet shows your plain camera; it never shows a black tile. The extension is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always work. If it can no longer work in Google Meet at all, the refund terms above apply.

Support

Email support@faceplateapp.com. We answer about billing, restoring a purchase on another computer, and anything that isn't working.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
